Failing prosthetic grafts in patients undergoing hemodialysis is a common problem. Balloon angioplasty is the first line in treating these stenoses, but it is associated with poor patency rates due to recoil and subsequent restenosis. The use of stent graft implantation has shown very promising early and long-term results as per recent literature.
