Gold-assisted exfoliation (GAE) is a groundbreaking mechanical exfoliation technique that produces centimeter-scale single-crystal monolayers of 2D materials. Such large, high-quality films offer unparalleled advantages over the micron-sized flakes typically produced by conventional exfoliation techniques, significantly accelerating the research and technological advancements in the field of 2D materials. Despite its wide applications, the fundamental mechanism of GAE remains poorly understood.

Neutron Spin Resonance in a Quasi-Two-Dimensional Iron-Based Superconductor.

The neutron spin resonance is generally regarded as a key to understanding the magnetically mediated Cooper pairing in unconventional superconductors. Here, we report an inelastic neutron scattering study on the low-energy spin excitations in a quasi-two-dimensional iron-based superconductor KCa_{2}Fe_{4}As_{4}F_{2}. We have discovered a two-dimensional spin resonant mode with downward dispersions, a behavior closely resembling the low branch of the hourglass-type spin resonance in cuprates.

Doping site identification in 112 iron pnictides through a first-principles core-electron spectroscopic study.

Density functional theory based first-principles core-electron spectroscopic studies on iron-based superconducting 112 materials are presented. The existence of an extra As zigzag chain structure along with Fe-As planes in 112 materials is emphasised. Doping on an As site belonging to a chain by Sb is found to enhance the superconducting transition temperature.
