Numerous research studies have highlighted the exponential growth of malware attacks worldwide, posing a significant threat to society. Cybercriminals are becoming increasingly merciless and show no signs of pity towards individuals or organizations. It is evident that cyber criminals will stop at nothing to gain unauthorized access to confidential information.

A continent-wide detailed geological map dataset of Antarctica.

A dataset to describe exposed bedrock and surficial geology of Antarctica has been constructed by the GeoMAP Action Group of the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) and GNS Science. Our group captured existing geological map data into a geographic information system (GIS), refined its spatial reliability, harmonised classification, and improved representation of glacial sequences and geomorphology, thereby creating a comprehensive and coherent representation of Antarctic geology. A total of 99,080 polygons were unified for depicting geology at 1:250,000 scale, but locally there are some areas with higher spatial resolution.

Pollution Vulnerability of the Ghiss Nekkor Alluvial Aquifer in Al-Hoceima (Morocco), Using GIS-Based DRASTIC Model.

Groundwater resources of the alluvial aquifer Ghiss Nekkor, which covers an area of 100 km, are the main source of domestic and agricultural freshwater supply in the region of Al Hoceima in Morocco. Due to human activities (overexploitation, increase in agricultural activity), this alluvial aquifer has become very sensitive to chemical pollution. The principal objective of this current study is to develop and implement a calibration method to assess, map, and estimate the vulnerability of the Ghiss Nekkor alluvial aquifer to pollution risk.

Comprehensive annotations of the mutational spectra of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein: a fast and accurate pipeline.

Infecting millions of people, the SARS-CoV-2 is evolving at an unprecedented rate, demanding advanced and specified analytic pipeline to capture the mutational spectra. In order to explore mutations and deletions in the spike (S) protein - the most-discussed protein of SARS-CoV-2 - we comprehensively analyzed 35,750 complete S protein-coding sequences through a custom Python-based pipeline. This GISAID-collected dataset of until 24 June 2020 covered six continents and five major climate zones.

Right Atrial Mass Mimicking a Myxoma as a First Presentation of Antiphospholipid Syndrome.

Antiphospholipid syndrome is characterized by recurrent spontaneous abortion, recurrent arterial/venous thrombosis, and thrombocytopenia. The presentation of an atrial mass mimicking a myxoma in this syndrome is exceedingly rare, leading to misdiagnosing of the condition and further risking recurrence due to lack of anticoagulation. In this report, we present such a case that was mistakenly thought to be a myxoma.
