[A teenager with painless swelling of the PIP-joints].

A 13-year-old boy was seen with symmetric bilateral swelling around the proximal interphalangeal joints. He did not have pain or loss of function or other signs of arthritis. Inflammation parameters and rheumatologic markers were negative.
