[Vitamin D Deficiency In Advanced Breast Cancer Risk In Mali].

Aims: The aim of this study was to determine the association between vitamin D deficiency and advanced BC in a Malian women population.

Methods: This is a prospective cross-sectional study, conducted during 4 months, from August 2021 to November 2021. The assays were performed on immunodiagnostic and biochemistry devices in Rodolphe Merieux Laboratory.

[Monitoring of glycemic balance by glycated hemoglobin assay on D-10® (Biorad) and Minicap Flex Piercing® (Sebia) biochemical systems at the Rodolph-Mérieux Laboratory in Bamako].

This study aims to determine the concordance of results between D-10® and Minicap Flex Piercing® and the impact of the presence of hemoglobin variants in the glycated hemoglobin assay. All the samples were assayed in parallel. The agreement between these methods was assessed using the Bland and Altman plot.

[Biochemical analysis of an uncommon monoclonal peak on urine protein electrophoresis: a case report].

Urine protein electrophoresis is often required for diagnosis and monitoring of urological or renal diseases and lymphoid hemopathies. We here report an uncommon urine protein electrophoresis result. The test was performed using agarose gel electrophoresis and capillary electrophoresis.

[Unusual serum protein electrophoresis in a patient with cholangiocarcinoma].

Serum protein electrophoresis is of certain diagnostic interest. We report a case of unusual electrophoresis associated with cholestatic jaundice complicating a cholangiocarcinoma. The study involved a 55-year old patient hospitalized for the exploration of cholestatic jaundice.
