Emergence of colistin-resistant gram-negative rods in intensive care units: A cross-sectional study from a developing country.

Objectives: To determine the clinical features, outcomes, and factors associated with the emergence of colistin-resistant gram-negative rods isolated from patients admitted to intensive care units.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at the intensive care units of Liaquat National Hospital, from April 2019 to February 2020. Gram-negative rods resistant to colistin with minimum inhibitory concentrations ⩾ 4 mcg/mL according to Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute criteria as reported in cultures were included.

Perceived barriers to facemask adherence in the covid-19 pandemic in Pakistan-A cross-sectional survey.

Objective: To explore perceived barriers associated with facemask adherence to prevent spread of COVID-19 spread in Pakistani population.

Methodology: A cross sectional study was conducted from 25-July 2020 to 5-August 2020. Participants of both genders of age >17 years, currently residing in Pakistan, who had access to internet and understood English were included in the survey.

Spectrum of Papillary Breast Lesions According to World Health Organization Classification of Papillary Neoplasms of Breast.

Introduction Papillary breast lesions are segregated into benign and malignant based on the presence or absence of myoepithelial cells in the papillary cores. Papillary breast lesions are further classified into: intraductal papilloma, papilloma with atypical ductal hyperplasia (ADH)/ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), papillary DCIS, solid papillary carcinoma in situ, solid papillary carcinoma with invasion, invasive solid papillary carcinoma, encapsulated papillary carcinoma and encapsulated papillary carcinoma with invasion. In this study, we evaluated the spectrum of papillary breast lesions in resection specimens of the breast according to the latest World Health Organization (WHO) classification of breast tumors.

Morphological Spectrum and Pathological Parameters of Type 2 Endometrial Carcinoma: A Comparison With Type 1 Endometrial Cancers.
