Synovial chondromatosis affecting the glenohumeral joint is rare. Treatment primarily consists of arthroscopic loose body removal and synovectomy. Shoulder arthroplasty has been mentioned in the literature as a treatment option for patients with coexisting arthritis, although the results have been underreported.
