Background: Geriatric patients, prone to adverse events (AEs) and low compliance with drugs, may benefit from minimally invasive surgical therapies (MISTs) for managing benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). We evaluated the efficacy, safety, and procedural characteristics of MISTs in geriatric patients with BPH.
Methods: PubMed/MEDLINE database was systematically searched for relevant articles through October 1, 2023.
The primary objective of this research was to identify and explore the most potent and efficacious cyclooxygenase inhibitors, utilizing indole acetic acid drugs as a lead molecule. To achieve this objective, various derivatives ( and ) of the selected lead molecule, indomethacin, were synthesized using a reflux condensation process, targeting the hydroxyl group. The synthesized analogues were subjected to different spectroscopic procedures to determine their structure and confirm their analogues.
