Background: Allowing a birth companion is the basic right of a mother and is identified as an important component of respectful maternity care. The implementation of this intervention has been a challenge in heavy-load public health facilities in India.

Local Problem: Despite the proven benefits of the presence of birth companions on maternal-fetal outcomes, there was no policy of allowing birth companions in our hospital.

Material And Method: The Achilles tendons of forty-four PsA patients (59 ± 15 years old, 38 % female) and thirty-seven asymptomatic volunteers (32 ± 10 years old, 51 % female) were scanned on a 3 T clinical scanner in the sagittal plane using a 3-inch surface coil. The 3D UTE-Adiab-T sequences with fat saturation (FS) were used to measure UTE-Adiab-T.

Background: A structured and organized public health set up with systematically trained personnel to manage and deliver public health services from grassroot levels to higher administrative levels with separate public health directorate is the need of the hour. The objective of this study was to conduct a situational analysis of public health cadre in select states in India to gain an in-depth understanding of the progress and explore the gaps and challenges in its implementation.

Methods: Using the 2017 US National Readmission Database, we identified adults ≥50 years of age hospitalized with GCA between January and June 2017, with at least 6 months of follow-up.

Materials And Methods: In this confirmatory pre-post assessment study, based on the purposive sampling technique, a sample consisting of 40 (20 for experimental and the other 20 for control group) patients having schizophrenia with core symptoms of hallucination and delusions under treatment as usual were selected and matched on the sociodemographic and clinical variables.

Extraintestinal Manifestations of Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Current Concepts, Treatment, and Implications for Disease Management.

Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) are systemic diseases that manifest not only in the gut and gastrointestinal tract, but also in the extraintestinal organs in many patients. The quality of life for patients with IBD can be substantially affected by these extraintestinal manifestations (EIMs). It is important to have knowledge of the prevalence, pathophysiology, and clinical presentation of EIMs in order to adapt therapeutic options to cover all aspects of IBD.
