Genetic resources of tepary bean (Phaseolus acutifolius A. Gray) germplasm collections are not well characterized due to a lack of dedicated genomic resources. There is a need to assemble genomic resources specific to tepary bean for germplasm characterization, heterotic grouping, and breeding.
