Background: Febrile seizures are the most common type of convulsions affecting children aged six months to five years. However, febrile seizures can be difficult to identify due to the vague nature of the symptoms, which can lead to incorrect diagnosis and treatment. Thus, this study explores febrile seizure-related uncertainty, knowledge, and anxiety among mothers.

Parents of children with autism spectrum disorder quality of life in Jordan: a comparative study.

This study aimed to assess the quality of life (QoL) of parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in Jordan and its associated factors. This comparative study was conducted among parents of children with ASD and non-ASD. Data collection took four setting areas that include three centers for autism in three different municipalities and the control group was collected using social media.

Acceptance of Remote Education During COVID-19 Outbreak in Undergraduate Nursing Students.

This study aimed to examine the acceptance and predictors of remote education through Internet-based learning among undergraduate nursing students in Jordan. An online survey was used with a sample of 344 students to assess satisfaction with remote education. Responses indicated that undergraduate nursing students were unsatisfied with remote education for several reasons.

Maternal awareness of breastfeeding policies in baby-friendly hospitals in Jordan.

Aim: This study aims to investigate the maternal perception and awareness of Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) policies.

Method: A descriptive, cross-sectional research design was employed. A total of 205 mothers who gave birth in two hospitals in Jordan comprised the sample for this study.

Mothers' knowledge and attitudes about newborn screening in Jordan.

Newborn screening is an important public health program that helps save the lives of many infants worldwide. The aim of this cross-sectional descriptive study was to examine the knowledge and attitudes of mothers regarding the newborn screening test in Jordan. A convenient sample of 301 mothers of newborns was interviewed to collect data, using structured questionnaires about their knowledge and attitudes regarding the newborn screening.

Undergraduate health profession students attitudes toward illicit substance users in Jordan.

Background: The use of illicit substances is a critical international issue that must be addressed by healthcare systems worldwide. Today, the problem of illicit substance use is increasingly becoming a burden on healthcare systems in both developed and developing countries. The aims of this study were: (1) to describe the attitudes of health major undergraduate students (the study participants) toward illicit substance users; (2) to describe the discriminatory behaviors among the study participants toward illicit substance users; and (3) to examine the relationship between the attitudes and the actual discriminatory behaviors of the study participants.

Caregivers Help-Seeking Behaviors for Postdischarged Neonates from Neonatal Intensive Care Units: A Jordanian Study.

Purpose: This study will explore and describe help-seeking behaviors and decision-making processes of Arab Muslim caregivers in Jordan when seeking help for their sick neonates after discharge from Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). This study which will contribute to the global discussion on the reasons/conditions contributing to neonatal mortality.
