: The global burden of colorectal cancer remains a major public health issue and one of the leading causes of death worldwide. In Saudi Arabia, it continues to be a health concern. Any delays in diagnosis for any reason may contribute to advanced complications; therefore, pharmacists' knowledge and awareness of colorectal cancer are crucial for the welfare of society.

Congenital talipes equinovarus (CTEV) is commonly associated with myelomeningocele (MMC). It is thought to be a mixture of intrauterine development and a result of an imbalance in muscular innervation. Conservative management has been explored for those cases, but most resulted in recurrence.

Combined Intraoperative Arthroscopic and Fluoroscopic Guided Reduction of a Lateral Tibial Plateau Fracture Using Minimally Invasive Metaphyseal and Intraarticular Fixation: Description of a Surgical Technique.

Tibial plateau fractures are quite common among lower limb fractures Several fracture classifications exist including Schatzker classification, in which tibial plateau fractures are divided into six types where each increasing numerical category indicates increasing severity of the injury and worsening prognosis. Arthroscopic-assisted techniques using a lateral or medial metaphyseal window have shown results comparable to open internal fixation methods with multiple advantages. We present a case of a medically and surgically free 40-year-old lady who presented to our emergency department complaining of left knee pain following a fall from the stairs.

Prevalence of symptoms and risk of obstructive sleep apnea in Saudi pregnant women.

Background: This case-control study aimed to assess the prevalence of symptoms and risk of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) among Saudi pregnant women.

Methods: The study included consecutive Saudi pregnant women attending the antenatal service between July 2015 and December 2016. Pregnant women were compared with an age-matched group of nonpregnant women.

Prophylactic intravitreal antibiotics reduce the risk of post-traumatic endophthalmitis after repair of open globe injuries.

Purpose: To investigate efficacy of prophylactic intravitreal antibiotics in reducing incidence of endophthalmitis after repair of open globe injuries. At King Abdulaziz University Hospital, a standard protocol of intravenous vancomycin and ceftazidime was used in all cases.

Methods: Charts of 353 patients who presented between January 2010 and January 2014 with open globe injury were retrospectively reviewed.

Asthma changes at a pediatric intensive care unit after 10 years: Observational study.

Objectives: To describe the change in the management, and outcome of children with acute severe asthma (ASA) admitted to Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at tertiary institute, as compared to previously published report in 2003.

Methods: This is a retrospective observational study. All consecutive pediatric ASA patients who were admitted to PICU during the study period were included.
