Castleman's Disease With Tongue Lesions in an HIV-Positive Patient From Saudi Arabia.

Castleman's disease (CD) is a rare lymphoproliferative disorder that presents with heterogeneous clinical manifestations. We present a case report of a 34-year-old male patient co-infected with CD and HIV, who exhibited tongue lesions along with systemic symptoms. Prompt diagnosis and appropriate management, including antiretroviral therapy (ART) and targeted treatment for CD, resulted in significant clinical improvement.

Background Isotretinoin is the most effective treatment for moderate to severe acne. However, isotretinoin has many side effects related to its use. Since 1983, when Hetzen reported the first occurrence of new depressive symptoms in patients treated with isotretinoin, a lot of controversies emerged regarding the causal relationship between isotretinoin and depression.
