Background: Self-medication is a concern at the global level. It comes with complications and different health issues. This study measures the prevalence, influential factors, and reasons behind self-medication.

Tunable optical matrix convolution of 20-Gbit/s QPSK 2-D data with a kernel using optical wave mixing.

Compared to its electronic counterpart, optically performed matrix convolution can accommodate phase-encoded data at high rates while avoiding optical-to-electronic-to-optical (OEO) conversions. We experimentally demonstrate a reconfigurable matrix convolution of quadrature phase-shift keying (QPSK)-encoded input data. The two-dimensional (2-D) input data is serialized, and its time-shifted replicas are generated.

The Precision of All-on-Four Implant Position Recorded from Three Different CBCT Machines.

Objective:  To investigate the dimensional discrepancy and degree of deviation of All-on-Four implant position between different cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) machines.

Materials And Methods:  Four implants (4.5 × 10 mm Superline II, Dentium, South Korea) were placed in an All-on-Four style in an artificial mandible.

Background Ischemic mitral regurgitation (IMR) or functional MR intensity with or without repair increases the risk of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), and if the contaminant is undertaken, it doubles the risk of the surgery. This study aimed to characterize patients with concomitant CABG and mitral valve repair (MVR) and assess the surgical and long-term outcomes. Methods We conducted a cohort study from 2014 to 2020 on 364 patients who underwent CABG.

Objectives: Resin cements are light polymerized, but the light may not reach all areas of root canals. The purpose of this study was to determine the best predictor of transmitted light radiant exposure (TLRE) from posts' sides.

Materials And Methods: Fiber posts were placed in a custom-made apparatus and advanced by 1-mm increments.

Prevalence of Raynaud's Phenomenon in Saudi Arabia.

Purpose: Raynaud's phenomenon (RP) is defined as frequent ischaemic attacks in the fingers and toes due to vascular vasospasm. Studies have been conducted in many countries worldwide to determine the prevalence of RP. The aim of the current study was to assess the prevalence of RP in the Saudi Arabian population.

Effects of COVID-19 lockdown on the mental health of dental students: A longitudinal study.

Objectives: Many countries have enforced lockdowns on their populations due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. This study aimed to assess the effects of the lockdown on dental students.

Methods: A longitudinal, repeated cross-sectional study was conducted to evaluate psychological problems experienced by dental students during the COVID-19 lockdown in Saudi Arabia.

A randomized clinical trial of dentin hypersensitivity reduction over one month after a single topical application of comparable materials.

Dentinal hypersensitivity (DH) is a condition that causes patient discomfort. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Gluma, fluoride varnish and Tetric N-Bond self-etch system in relieving DH immediately and over 30 days following a single topical application. The present randomized clinical trial was conducted on 55 patients with an age range 20-49 years.
