Since their emergence, e-cigarettes have gained popularity in Saudi Arabia, particularly among young adults. Recently, many non-smoking youths have begun to use e-cigarettes as an alternative social behavior.

Managed aquifer recharge is a water storage and recovery method. However, fines migration during water injection can significantly affect formation permeability. Several studies have analyzed fines migration in sandstone and soil samples, but few studies have investigated fines migration in carbonate rocks.

Bilateral Elastofibroma Dorsi: A Case From General Practice.

Elastofibroma is a benign soft tumor that is composed of elastic fibers in a background of collagenous and adipose tissue. However, the presence of multiple elastofibromas is considered a rare occasion. We report the case of a 39-year-old man who presented to our general practice clinic with a complaint of upper back swelling for the last three months.

National Early Warning Score (NEWS) as Prognostic Triage Tool for Septic Patients.

Purpose: We assessed the National Early Warning Score (NEWS) in emergency triage for predicting sepsis-related outcomes.

Methods: A retrospective chart review of all cases enrolled in the sepsis management protocol for a one-year duration. The protocol utilized the NEWS as a screening tool for sepsis in the triage area.

Multiple Sclerosis Patients Knowledge in Saudi Arabia.

Objective: To assess Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients` knowledge in Saudi Arabia (SA) and in which aspect of the disease do patient need more awareness.

Methods: A cross-sectional web-based survey has been conducted between June and August 2017. It consisted of 2 parts: sociodemographic and 23 multiple choice questions chosen from the previously validated MS Knowledge Questionnaire (MSKQ).

Analysis of Fused Rooted Maxillary First and Second Molars with Merged and C-shaped Canal Configurations: Prevalence, Characteristics, and Correlations in a Saudi Arabian Population.

Introduction: The aims of this in vivo cone-beam computed tomographic (CBCT) study were to evaluate the prevalence, characteristics, and correlations between the fused rooted maxillary first and second molars as well as their consequent merged and C-shaped canals in a Saudi Arabian population.

Methods: CBCT imaging of 726 maxillary first and second molars from 208 subjects of Saudi origin were evaluated in the present study. The prevalence of fused rooted maxillary molars, merged canals, C-shaped configurations, and correlations between the presence of fused rooted teeth between first and second molars were examined as the primary outcome.

Diabetes-Related Distress Assessment among Type 2 Diabetes Patients.

Background And Objectives: Diabetes is one of the most common chronic diseases; it is a debilitating and hard to live with. Diabetes-related distress (DRD) refers to the emotional and behavioral changes caused by diabetes. Our study aims to assess the prevalence of DRD among type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients using Diabetes Distress Scale-17 items (DDS-17) and its relation to complications and treatment modalities.
