Mechanical Performance and Corrosion Behaviour of Diffusion-Bonded A5083 Aluminium and A36 Mild Steel with Gallium Interlayer.

This article investigated the mechanical performance and corrosion behaviour of a diffusion-bonded A5083 aluminium/A36 mild steel dissimilar joint with a Gallium (Ga) interlayer. The bonding parameters were the bonding temperature (525 and 550 °C), holding time (60 and 120 min) and surface roughness (800 and 1200 grit). Property characterisation was achieved using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, Vickers microhardness tester, Izod impact tester and potentiodynamic polarisation testing.

Plasmablastic Lymphoma Mimicking Osteomyelitis of Femur in an Immunocompetent Individual: A Case Report.

Plasmablastic lymphoma (PBL) is an aggressive type of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. It is most commonly seen in patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and other immunodeficiencies manifesting commonly in the form of oral lesions. Here, we report a case of an HIV-negative, immunocompetent elderly male who presented with a painful solitary tender lesion on the right anterior lateral thigh.

Disseminated Hydatid Disease in a Child Involving Multiple Organ Systems: A Case Report.

Hydatid disease is a parasitic infestation by Echinococcus granulosus, which involves the liver and lungs primarily. The authors report a case of disseminated hydatid disease involving multiple organs simultaneously in a 7-year-old child from Kabul, Afghanistan. The patient under examination had been having a complaint of cough and low-grade fever for the last one year.

Frequency of Ischemic Stroke Subtypes Based on Toast Classification at a Tertiary Care Center in Pakistan.

Background: The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of ischemic stroke subtypes based on Trial of Org 10172 in Acute Stroke Treatment (TOAST) classification at a tertiary care center in Pakistan.

Materials And Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted in Stroke Unit of Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. We included 145 patients who presented to us from November 2015 to February 2016 with radiological confirmed neurological deficits consistent with ischemic stroke.
