Non-contiguous Rare Presentation of Spinal Tuberculosis: A Case Report.

Spinal tuberculosis (TB), also known as Pott's disease, is a severe form of extrapulmonary TB that affects the vertebral bodies and intervertebral discs. While the typical presentation involves the contiguous involvement of multiple vertebrae, atypical forms, such as non-contiguous multilevel spinal TB (NMLST), can occur. However, diagnosing spinal TB poses challenges due to its gradual onset, nonspecific symptoms, and varying imaging results.

The Diagnostic and Therapeutic Dilemma of Seronegative Pulmonary Renal Syndrome: A Case Report.

Pulmonary renal syndrome (PRS) is a combination of rapid progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN) and diffuse alveolar hemorrhage (DAH) caused by a variety of immunological and non-immunological etiologies. The difficulty in identifying and reporting seronegative PRS cases could be attributed to the lack of specific immunological markers. Thus, we report a rare case of a 13-year-old boy who was initially diagnosed with idiopathic pauci-immune pulmonary capillaritis (IPIPC).

Low-grade papillary urothelial neoplasm: A case report study.

Urothelial carcinoma (UC) of the bladder is a prevalent malignant tumor among the elderly, whereas its incidence is scarce in the first 2 decades of life. The most commonly reported symptom in the literature is isolated hematuria, frequently overlooked during the initial medical assessment. In this study, we present the case of a 3-year-old male with hematuria, accompanied by other irritative symptoms such as flank pain, nausea, and vomiting.

Risk factors for carpal tunnel syndrome in patients attending the primary care center of a tertiary hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: A case-control study.

Background: Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), the most common entrapment neuropathy in the upper extremity, is known to be a multi-factorial disease that raises medical and nonmedical risk factors. The aim of the current study was to determine the risk factors of CTS in patients attending the primary care center at a tertiary hospital.

Materials And Methods: A case-control study was conducted by reviewing all medical records of patients above the age of 18 years old diagnosed with CTS from 2015 to 2021.
