Acute osteomyelitis (OM) of the patella is an exceptionally rare condition in children. The rarity of this condition, coupled with its nonspecific symptoms and varied clinical presentations, makes early diagnosis challenging and often results in delayed treatment. Prompt identification and initiation of antibiotic therapy are essential for a full recovery and to prevent the disease from progressing to a chronic, more severe form.

Traumatic Injury and Complete Ligation of the Inferior Vena Cava: A Case Report.

This case report describes an occurrence of a traumatic injury to the inferior vena cava (IVC) secondary to penetrating trauma. A 37-year-old male patient presented to the emergency department (ED) after sustaining a stab wound to the mid back. The patient was transferred directly to the operating theatre (OT) and underwent an emergency exploratory laparotomy.

Urinary Bladder Perforation Due to Foley Catheter: A Case Report and Review of Literature.

Urinary bladder perforation is one of the few surgical emergencies prone to misdiagnosis, leading to a high mortality rate.
