Objective: To report 5 cases of fungal keratitis caused by Trichophyton schoenleinii.
Methods: Case reports.
Results: Trichophyton schoenleinii is responsible for aggressive fungal keratitis that is associated with keratolysis as a result of collagenase expression by the organism.
