Objectives: The aims of the study were to construct a new prognostic prediction model for detecting prostate cancer (PCa) patients using machine-learning (ML) techniques and to compare those models across systematic and target biopsy detection techniques.
Methods: The records of the two main hospitals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, were analyzed for data on diagnosed PCa from 2019 to 2023. Four ML algorithms were utilized for the prediction and classification of PCa.
Endogenous endophthalmitis, a rare and severe ocular infection, is typically associated with endogenous infections that reach the eye, while prostatic abscesses pose clinical challenges and are more common in immunocompromised patients. We present a case of a 50-year-old male with endophthalmitis resulting from a prostatic abscess. The patient's journey underscores the need for heightened awareness of prostatic abscess in patients with perineal symptoms, especially those with immunosuppression, and the consideration of endophthalmitis as a potential complication in urologic disease.

Patients And Methods: This retrospective study involved 485 patients with urinary stones treated at King Saud University Medical City from May 2015 to June 2017. Clinical data were obtained from medical records.
Introduction: Prospective urology applicants in Saudi Arabia must go through a rigorous matching process. Defining which aspects of an applicant's portfolio or interview will get them matched is difficult. Our objective is to provide information on which aspects of an application are the most important.

In addition, identifying the composition of stones is important for the further metabolic evaluation of patients. We conducted this study to further correlate the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and different compositions of urinary tract stones.

Our patient underwent an uncomplicated Monti ileovesicostomy at age 16 for a neurogenic bladder. She presented 10 years later with difficulty catheterizing the stoma.

Methods: The Manufacturer and User Facility Device Experience (MAUDE) database of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) was searched using the term "Laser for gastro-urology use." In addition, the Rockwell Laser Industries (RLI) Laser Accident Database was searched for the following types of lasers: neodymium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Nd:YAG), holmium:yttrium aluminum garnet (Ho:YAG), potassium titanyl phosphate (KTP), diode and thulium:YAG (Tm:YAG).
High-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) is associated with higher rates of recurrence and progression. Molecular markers within aberrant signaling pathways in cancer need further evaluation of their role as prognostic indicators and potential future targets for prevention of recurrence. Our objective was to investigate the role of the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway on the stage and outcome of patients with high-risk NMIBC.
