Bilateral Traumatic Facial Paralysis with Hearing Impairment and Abducens Palsy.

The temporal bone is often affected in basilar skull fractures. Fractures involving the petrous portion are particularly significant, as they may be associated with neurovascular sequelae. Bilateral facial paralysis secondary to bilateral temporal bone fracture is a rare clinical entity, even more so when associated with other cranial nerve damage such as abducens nerve paralysis and hearing impairment.

[Quantitative evaluation of infectious keratitis by anterior segment optical coherence tomography].

The clinical evaluation of infectious keratitis takes place largely through biomicroscopic examination, which presents limitations in the evaluation of the depth of the infiltrate and the exact thickness of the cornea, whether edematous or thinned. In this study, we aim to quantify the human corneal inflammatory response in treated infectious keratitis by anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT). Patients with infectious keratitis were recruited prospectively in the ophthalmology department of the military hospital of Rabat between November 2017 and May 2019.

To What Extent Can Orbital Cellulitis Emergency Aspect Influence the Diagnosis of Maxillary Sinus Lymphoma?

We present a case of a 46-year-old woman admitted to the emergency department for acute swelling and erythema of the right eyelid for 3 days. Ophthalmological examination was notable for 10/10, P2 best visual acuity, and inflammatory periorbital edema, without exophthalmia nor extraocular motility disturbance. Intraocular pressure was 14 mmHg and fundoscopic examination was not notable for any abnormality.
