Case report of a successful conservative surgical treatment of a giant liposarcoma of the forearm invading the median nerve.

Liposarcomas (LPS) are the most common malignant tumors among soft tissue sarcomas. We report a rare case of well-differentiated liposarcoma (lipoma-like) located along the anterior compartment of the right forearm, which was successfully treated with complete excision, resulting in good functional recovery without recurrence during a 2-year follow-up. Surgery is the primary treatment for localized forms, involving complete and radical excision with clear resection margins.

Surgical treatment for the uncommon bi-articular fracture of trapezium: A case report.

Trapezium fracture is a rare condition that goes undetected and exposes to long-term comorbidities: chronic pain and rhizartrosis. Our work aims to summarize the clinical presentation and improve leading to therapeutic guidelines which are not well established by reporting a case of ORIF with mini-screws for a displaced fracture of the body of the trapezium with a satisfactory outcome.

Fracture-dislocation of the radiocarpal joint: bony and capsulo-ligamentar management, outcomes and long-term complications.

Purpose: Radiocarpal dislocation fractures (RCDF) are rare injuries that usually occur in a violent trauma setting. Our work aimed to analyze our patients' functional and radiological results after surgery and identify potential medium- and long-term complications while reviewing other series previously reported in the literature.

Methods: We have performed a retrospective study over five years at our university hospital, eleven patients were selected, and the mean follow-up was about 33 months.

Synovial sarcoma in the buttocks: an exceptional location - case report according to SCARE guidelines.

Unlabelled: Pelvic pain is a frequent reason for consultation; the management is complex, given the differences in symptomatic and anatomical orientation. We present an exceptional case of intergluteal synovial sarcoma rarely described in the literature, with an incidence of about 1/1 000 000 and less than 10 cases of intergluteal location are published.

Case Presentation: Through this publication, we present a very exceptional case of synovial sarcoma.

Giant fibrolipoma of the median nerve in the thenar eminence: Case report and literature review.

Nerve fibrolipoma is a very rare benign tumor, corresponding to fibrofatty proliferation of the epineurium and perineurium, where most frequently, the median nerve is touched. We report the case of a 52-year-old patient who has a giant fibrolipoma of the thenar branch of the median nerve evolving at the level of the thenar eminence, an exceptional size and location for this disorder. Our case presents fibrolipoma of the median nerve in thenar eminence, a size and localization that has not been reported in the literature to our knowledge A good dissection makes it possible to obtain total resection without neurological after-effects.

Case report: Pure obturator dislocation of the hip, a rare variety of regular dislocations, and long-term clinical outcomes.

Post-traumatic dislocation of the hip is a surgical emergency that is usually caused by a high-energy trauma in a context of polytrauma. The pure obturator hip dislocation variant is very rare. It is considered an emergency, and its management must be done within 6 h by a qualified surgeon in order to reduce the risk of osteonecrosis of the femoral head and iatrogenic fractures.

Case report: A rare case of pure tibio-talar dislocation without malleolar clamp fracture in a young athlete: Long-term functional results and recent reviews of the literature.

Introduction And Importance: Ankle dislocation without fracture is an extremely rare injury, requires high-energy trauma, up to 1995, only 73 cases were reported in the literature and 154 cases up to 2017. It is therefore a post-traumatic ankle disease growing in parallel with the increase in road-traffic accidents requiring the study of incriminated factors such as hypoplasia of the medial malleolus.

Case Presentation: The authors report the case of a young patient, a football player, who presented with a pure, closed dislocation of his ankle following a road-traffic accident.

Osteoid osteoma is a benign but painful bone tumor whose treatment is based on complete surgical resection. We here report the case of a young patient with osteoid osteoma of the upper extremity of the radius through a literature review.

Sclerosing epithelioid fibrosarcoma: rare and serious.

Sclerosing Epithelioid Fibrosarcoma (SEF) is a rare form of soft tissue sarcoma. It is characterized by a slow evolution, with local recurrences and late metastases that are mainly pulmonary and pleural in about 50% of cases. The treatment is based on the surgery which must be as wide as possible.

Carpal antelunar dislocation and Fenton syndrome: Extremely rare association.

Carpal antelunar dislocations are much rarer than posterior dislocations. Their frequencies are between 3 and 6% of carpal perilunar dislocations. Out of 23 cases of carpal antelunar dislocations listed in the literature, there are only 11-scapho antelunar dislocations.

[Osteosynthesis of fractures of the metacarpals and phalanges of the hand with mini plate: about 12 cases].

Treatment of unstable fractures of metacarpals and phalanges remains subject of controversy. Few series have been reported in the literature, making their analysis difficult. We provide a retrospective study involving 12 patients, operated on by this technique for displaced fractures of the metacarpals and phalanges, over a two year period.

Isolated fracture of the humeral trochlea: a case report and review of the literature.

Introduction: Isolated fracture of the trochlea is a rarely reported entity. To the best of our knowledge, only 15 cases have been published. We report the case of a patient with an isolated fracture of the trochlea and discuss through a literature review the underlying mechanisms and the clinical, radiological and therapeutic features of this lesion.

Traumatic manubriosternal dislocation: A new method of stabilization postreduction.

Traumatic manubriosternal dislocation is a rare lesion. In the literature, only a few case reports of patients treated surgically are published. In this case, we report an unstable posterior dislocation of the manubriosternal joint in a 50-year-old women caused by direct trauma.

Pelvic bone and hip joint hydatid disease revealing a retroperitoneal location.

Echinococcosis is a parasitic disease produced by the larval stage of Echinococcus granulosus. Hydatid disease of bone is rarely seen in humans and it has been reported in only 1-2% of cases of echinococcosis. We present a patient who developed hydatid disease of the left pelvic and femoral bones with cartilage destruction of the ipsilateral hip joint revealing a retroperitoneal location of hydatid cyst.
