Density functional theory at B3LYP/LANL2DZ level was utilized to calculate total dipole moment (TDM), HOMO/LUMO energy gap (ΔE) and to map the molecular electrostatic potential (MESP). Results indicated that PLA/GO interacted with ZnO through O-atom forming PLA/GO/OZn composite.

Introduction: Cholestasis is the impairment of normal bile flow causing accumulation of bile salts, lipids, and bilirubin in blood which presents as Jaundice. Jaundice beyond 2 weeks of age is rare in infancy with worldwide incidence of 1 in 2500 live births. Biliary atresia is the most common extra hepatic cause of cholestasis in late neonatal and infancy period.

Introduction: Transition-related surgery is an effective treatment for gender dysphoria, but the perioperative analgesic management of transgender patients is nuanced and potentially complicated by higher rates of mood and substance use disorders. Regional anesthetic techniques are known to reduce pain severity and opioid requirements; however, little is known regarding the relative analgesic effectiveness of regional anesthesia for transgender patients undergoing transition-related surgery.
Methods: We performed a systematic review of the literature to evaluate original reports characterizing the analgesic effectiveness of regional anesthetic techniques for patients undergoing chest and/or genital transition-related surgery.
Chlamydia psittaci ‒ related community-acquired pneumonia associated to acute myocarditis was diagnosed in a young man with no medical history, and a professional exposition to birds. The diagnosis was confirmed with positive specific polymerase chain reaction in bronchoalveolar lavage. The patient was treated with spiramycin for two weeks with anti-inflammatory treatment for myocarditis for three months.

The synthesized complex exhibited the molecular formula [Zn(HTTAH)(OH)(CHN)CHOH] (Zn-HTTAH). To assess their potential as anti-corrosion materials, the synthesized particles were assessed for their effectiveness for API 5L X70 C-steel corrosion in a 3.

Interestingly, our studies found that the fruit quality of bayberry with accompanying ryegrass was significantly improved, but its mechanism remains unclear. The aim of this study was to explore the mechanism of accompanying ryegrass on the beneficial effect of the fruit quality of bayberry by measuring the vegetative growth parameters, fruit parameters with economic impact, physical and chemical properties of rhizosphere soil, microbial community structure, and metabolites of the bayberry with/without ryegrass.

The exact cause of IBD is unknown, but they often start during adolescence or early adulthood with symptoms such as urgency, rectal bleeding, diarrhea, abdominal pain and tenesmus. Primary sclerosing cholangitis and autoimmune hepatitis are recognized as co-occurring conditions associated with ulcerative colitis.

Mycelium biocomposites are eco-friendly, cheap, easy to produce, and have competitive mechanical properties. However, their integration in the built environment as durable and long-lasting materials is not solved yet. Similarly, biocomposites from recycled food waste such as seashells have been gaining increasing interest recently, thanks to their sustainable impact and richness in calcium carbonate and chitin.

Biosynthesized nanoparticle (NP) composite compounds have attracted attention as environmentally safe materials that possess antibacterial activity that could be used in managing plant diseases.
Methods: During this study, a nanocomposite of two important elements, nickel and silicon, was biosynthesized using extraction of saffron stigmas ( L.
Background And Methods: Cardiogenic shock remains one of the leading causes of death in patients with myocardial infarction. The Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) has been widely used as a treatment for acute myocardial infarction (AMI), despite recommendations against its routine use. In this paper, our aim is to analyze and share our own experience with IABP in the setting of AMI.

The costs related to lost productivity at contributions at work during care of preterm infants are difficult to measure. We aimed to explore and document the unpriced costs parents incur following birth of a preterm infant in the first year of life in a low resource setting.

Methods: In this study, the lysate of Xoo bacteriophage X3 was used to mediate the bio-synthesis of MgO and MnO.
Some endophyte bacteria can improve plant growth and suppress plant diseases. However, little is known about the potential of endophytes bacteria to promote wheat growth and suppress the seedling blight pathogen . This study was conducted to isolate and identify endophytic bacteria and evaluate their efficacy for the plant growth promotion and disease suppression of seedling blight (FSB) in wheat.

Its diagnosis in infancy and early childhood poses a challenge owing to different clinical presentation ranging from gastrointestinal to respiratory symptoms. These neonates are usually misdiagnosed as having pneumonia until radiological imaging picks up the defect during routine scan for worsening respiratory symptoms.
