Iatrogenic injury to the bile duct is one of the most serious and feared complication of cholecystectomy, with a high mortality ranging between 3-12%. The management of such injuries of the bile duct is far more complicated and prolonged than the procedure itself. A retrospective analysis of 36 patients with bile duct injuries (BDI) was conducted over a period of 7 years, from January 2007 to December 2014.
