Pharmacy services within hospitals are changing, with more taking on medication reconciliation activities. This systematic review was conducted to determine the measured impacts of Pharmacy teams working in an acute or emergency medicine department. The protocol followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines and was prospectively registered on PROSPERO, National Institute for Health and Care Research, UK registration number: CRD42020187487.

Malnutrition: evaluating the effectiveness of supplements.

This article explores the effectiveness of oral nutritional supplements through a literature review. A literature search was performed throughout various medical databases and one article was selected for a critical appraisal. The study focused on the use of high-energy, low-volume supplements for people living in care homes who are at risk of malnutrtion or who are already manourished.

The spectrum of movement disorders in Glut-1 deficiency.

To assess the spectrum of movement disorders, we reviewed video recordings and charts of 57 patients with Glut-1 deficiency. Eighty-nine percent of patients with Glut-1 deficiency syndrome had a disturbance of gait. The most frequent gait abnormalities were ataxic-spastic and ataxic.
