Does financial technology matter in the relationship between CSR and banks' financial stability? a quantile regression approach.

In today's rapidly evolving global financial landscape, the growing importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and Fintech demands immediate attention, making it a vital and urgent area for exploration. This study examines whether Fintech plays a moderating role in the relationship between CSR and the financial stability of banks operating in some countries in the MENAT region from 2010 to 2021. Using simultaneous quantile regression analysis, the results show that Fintech positively moderates the effect of CSR on banks' financial stability at the medium and highest financial stability quantiles.

[Socio-demographic and clinical profile of a population of patients coming for consultation to the psychiatric department of a general hospital in southern Tunisia].

Introduction: mental disorders are a very common health condition and a major public health issue. The purpose of this study was to examine the epidemiological and clinical characteristics of patients coming for consultation to the psychiatric department of the Regional Hospital of Gabes, and to identify risk factors for the main mental disorders.

Methods: we conducted a retrospective study, including all patients consulting the psychiatry department of Gabes for the first time between 01/01/2010 and 31/12/2013.

[Observational study of factors predictive of medication errors and of prioritization criteria in geriatric medication reconciliation].

Objectives: The geriatric population, often polymedicated, is exposed to the risk of adverse drug events. Medication reconciliation (MR), which is an interactive and pluriprofessional process, helps ensure continuity of care. The objective of this study was to analyze and to define relevant prioritization criteria for MR in older patients in order to avoid a maximum of medication errors.

Introduction: Ricin, a toxic glycoprotein derived from the castor bean plant, is one of the most potent poisons known in the world. Ricin intoxication is a fatal and uncommon medical condition and recently its use as a potential bioterrorism agent has also been reported. This study aims to identify the main characteristics of diagnosed ricin poisoning cases worldwide in order to raise awareness of this toxin among the population and clinicians.

Background: Self-stigma is highly prevalent in serious mental illness (SMI) and is associated with poorer clinical and functional outcomes. Narrative enhancement and cognitive therapy (NECT) is a group-based intervention combining psychoeducation, cognitive restructuring and story-telling exercises to reduce self-stigma and its impact on recovery-related outcomes. Despite evidence of its effectiveness on self-stigma in schizophrenia-related disorders, it is unclear whether NECT can impact social functioning.

Background: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is an important health problem in Tunisia. A significant change in the epidemiological pattern of heart disease has been seen in the last 3 decades; however, no large prospective multicenter trial reflecting national data has been published so far. Robust data on the contemporary epidemiological profile and management of AF patients in Tunisia are limited.

Subthalamic stimulation and neuropsychiatric symptoms in Parkinson's disease: results from a long-term follow-up cohort study.

Background: Reports on behavioural outcomes after subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation in Parkinson's disease are controversial and limited to short-term data. Long-term observation in a large cohort allows a better counselling and management.

Methods: To determine whether a long-term treatment with subthalamic stimulation induces or reduces impulse control behaviours, neuropsychiatric fluctuations and apathy, 69 patients treated with subthalamic stimulation are prospectively and retrospectively assessed using Ardouin Scale of Behavior in Parkinson's Disease before and after 3-10 years of stimulation.
