Context: Myxosporean endoparasites (phylum cnidarian) are critical pathogens that affect both wild and cultured freshwater and marine water fishes globally causing huge economic losses and high mortalities.

Study Objective: The present study investigated myxosporean infections in Nile tilapia and African catfish collected from the natural resources.

Methods: A total of four hundred Nile tilapia with an average weight (60 ± 5 g) and two hundred African catfish with an average weight (185 ± 30 g) were collected seasonally from Qalyubia Governorate, Egypt for parasitological and molecular diagnosis of isolated myxozoan species.

Critical parameters affecting the thermal resistance of alkali-activated aluminosilicate wastes: Current understanding and future directions.

Many research articles and reviews have recognized alkali-activated materials (AAMs) as eco-friendly alternative binders to ordinary Portland cement (OPC) due to their economic andenvironmental advantages. However, few literature surveys reported the physical, mechanical and microstructural changes that occur after the exposure of AAMs to elevated temperatures. Owing to the wide diversity in the properties of aluminosilicates, alkali-activation conditions, and additives, a deep survey is needed to understand how different factors can affect the performance of AAMs under elevated temperatures.

The status of psychodynamic psychotherapy as an empirically supported treatment for common mental disorders - an umbrella review based on updated criteria.

To assess the current status of psychodynamic therapy (PDT) as an empirically supported treatment (EST), we carried out a pre-registered systematic umbrella review addressing the evidence for PDT in common mental disorders in adults, based on an updated model for ESTs. Following this model, we focused on meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published in the past two years to assess efficacy. In addition, we reviewed the evidence on effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and mechanisms of change.

This paper aimed to further examine the therapeutic effects of a 3-session course of this treatment focusing on its potential to maintain reduced healthcare utility within a group of patients with complex difficulties, across an extended time period, post-therapy. The original study followed a mixed methods case series design and recruited 18 patients from secondary adult mental health care and specialist neurology services.

Endoscopic Ultrasound-Guided Cholecystoenterostomy for Acute Hemorrhagic Cholecystitis Drainage.

Hemorrhagic cholecystitis is a rare entity with few cases reported in the literature. We report a case of a 42-year-old man with cirrhosis who presented to the hospital with abdominal pain in the right upper quadrant radiating to the back. Computed tomography scan showed findings consistent with acute cholecystitis.

Effects of mandatory homeschooling during COVID-19 on conflict in romantic couples.

In early 2020, schools across Canada closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, requiring parents to homeschool their children. We examined the association between homeschooling and romantic conflict among couples during the COVID-19 pandemic. Canadian couples ( = 756) completed online measures, including whether they were homeschooling, hours spent homeschooling, and romantic conflict during the month of April 2020.

Repeated Impact Response of Normal- and High-Strength Concrete Subjected to Temperatures up to 600 °C.

With the aim of investigating the response of concrete to the dual effect of accidental fire high temperatures and possible induced impacts due to falling fragmented or burst parts or objects, an experimental work is conducted in this study to explore the influence of exposure to temperatures of 200, 400 and 600 °C on the responses of concrete specimens subjected to impact loads. Cylindrical specimens are tested using the recommended repeated impact procedure of the ACI 544-2R test. Three concrete mixtures with concrete nominal design strengths of 20, 40 and 80 MPa are introduced to represent different levels of concrete strength.
