In this cross-sectional study we aimed at: 1) validating the observer (Obs) version of HEXACO Medium School Inventory Extended (MSI-E); 2) establishing convergent and divergent construct validity of the HEXACO-MSI-E; 3) establishing criterion validity of HEXACO-MSI-E. We administered the HEXACO-MSI-E, the Big Five Questionnaire-Children (BFQ-C), the Internalizing and Externalizing scales of Youth Self Report (YSR), some items of the 2019 Middle School Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRB) and some items about adolescents' values, beliefs, behaviors, and desired features of a possible future job to 1175 adolescents (Mage = 12.03, SD = 0.

Without free choice, other emotions, such as disappointment, are deemed to be elicited when the outcome is worse than expected. In two experiments, we tested the opposite hypothesis that being forced by external circumstances to choose an option inconsistent with one's own intentions is an important source of regret and a core component of its phenomenology, regardless of the positivity/negativity of the post-decision outcome.

The Multifactorial Memory Questionnaire (MMQ) evaluates dimensions of subjective memory functioning such as frequency of memory problems (Ability), affect related to memory abilities (Contentment), and strategy use in everyday life (Strategy). To examine the psychometric properties of the Italian version of the MMQ, six hundred Italian healthy individuals (aged 25-91 years) completed MMQ, a questionnaire assessing metacognition (Cognitive Failures Questionnaire, CFQ) and two batteries assessing cognitive global status (Montreal Cognitive Assessment, MoCA; Mini Mental State Examination, MMSE).

Design: Prospective cohort study.
Setting: University hospital.
Background: The aim of this study was to determine whether adding water-contrast in the rectum during transvaginal ultrasonography (RWC-TVS) improves the diagnosis of rectal infiltration in women with rectovaginal endometriosis.
Methods: This prospective study included 90 women, with suspect rectovaginal endometriosis, who underwent operative laparoscopy. TVS and RWC-TVS were independently performed by different investigators.
This prospective study evaluated the efficacy of transvaginal ultrasonography combined with water-contrast in the rectum (RWC-TVS) in the diagnosis of rectal infiltration in 35 women with rectovaginal endometriosis; ultrasonographic findings were compared with surgery and histology. The sensitivity of RWC-TVS in identifying rectal infiltration reaching at least the muscular layer was 100%, the specificity was 85.7%, the positive predictive value was 91.

Aims: This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a combination of letrozole and desogestrel in the treatment of pain symptoms related to the presence of endometriosis.
Methods: This open-label prospective study included 12 women with endometriosis-related pain symptoms that were refractory to previous medical and surgical treatments.
In case of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, the high incidence of dyspnea in relation with ascites and enlarged ovaries should not justify omission of thoracic evaluation. This manuscript reviews the pathogenesis and clinical presentation of hydrothorax following controlled ovarian hyperstimulation. In addition, we describe the case of a 33-year-old woman with a right massive hydrothorax resulting from controlled ovarian hyperstimulation for intracytoplasmic sperm injection.

This study examines the effect of laparoscopic excision of endometriosis on DD and quality of sex life.
Methods: This observational cohort prospective study included 68 women with endometriosis suffering DD (intensity of pain >or= 6 on a 10-cm visual analogue scale).
This observational cohort study examined the effect of laparoscopic full excision of endometriosis combined with postoperative triptorelin treatment on deep dyspareunia (DD) and quality of sex life. One year after completing the postoperative treatment, 45.9% of the patients had no DD and 34.

Design: Cross-sectional survey.
Setting: University hospital.
Objective: This cross-sectional survey investigates patients' attitudes towards the use of photos of children born following infertility treatment.
Materials And Methods: Each partner of 270 infertile couples independently completed a standardized questionnaire investigating patients' attitudes towards the presence of photos of children born following infertility treatment in fertility clinics, Internet websites, brochure, and videos.
Results: Subjects (77.
Objective: This study aims to determine whether women with endometriosis have greater subclinical atherosclerosis than the general population.
Study Design: This case-control study included 66 women with endometriosis and 66 controls matched for age and body mass index. All subjects were >or=35 years old.
Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the desired menstrual frequency of subjects without menstruation-related symptoms.
Materials And Methods: The study included 270 women of reproductive age. Women with menstrual headache, dysmenorrhea, hypermenorrhea and/or premenstrual syndrome were excluded.
Unlabelled: In the last few years, our understanding of the pathogenesis of endometriosis at the cellular and molecular levels has improved significantly. This may give us the opportunity to use new, specific agents for the treatment of this disorder. Despite the effectiveness of the available treatments, novel therapeutic strategies may improve our ability to eliminate endometriotic lesions when present and to prevent the recurrence of endometriosis after surgical treatment.
