Purpose: The most recent challenge being faced by the healthcare system during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic is increase in the incidence rate of coinfection or superinfection; one of the most fatal being mucormycosis. This study aimed to estimate the risk factors, symptoms and signs, treatment outcome and prognosis of COVID-19-associated mucormycosis (CAM) patients.

Methods: This is an interventional study of 35 patients diagnosed and managed as CAM at a tertiary care centre in New Delhi, India.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of frontalis sling surgery for congenital ptosis on corneal curvature and refractive status.

Methods: Prospective study of 60 eyes of 48 patients with severe simple congenital ptosis who underwent surgical correction by frontalis sling surgery. Assessment was done pre-operatively and at 1 week, 1 month, 3 months post-operatively by computerized topographer (Shipp Nippon, CT 1000), IOL master (Carl Zeiss, 500), autorefractometer (Unicos URK-800) and AS-OCT (Cirrus HD-OCT).

Purpose: Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy is a major cause of visual disability in a vast majority of Asian population due to exudative maculopathy. Although it is a distinctive disease entity with characteristic pathophysiology, genetics, immunology and clinical features, but it is still misdiagnosed as neovascular age related macular degeneration as both the diseases are a part of pachychoroid spectrum and have some similar features. Also, there are varied options for the management of this disease, but there are no clear recommendations.

Purpose: To report the occurrence of an episcleral AVM and to discuss the gravity as well as management of dilated tortuous episcleral vasculature.

Observation: A 16-year-old Asian male presented with redness in the left eye since birth and a history of gradual painless progressive increase in size since the past two years, causing a cosmetic concern for the patient. There was no history of any diminution of vision, diplopia, headache, trauma or any similar lesions anywhere in the body.

A 28-year-old male presented with insidious-onset, painless, progressive diminution of vision in both eyes. He denied any other ocular symptoms. On examination, visual acuity in both eyes was 6/60.
