Peripheral artery disease (PAD) compromises blood flow, often leading to the need for amputation. This case report details a 72-year-old male with a history of PAD and type 2 diabetes mellitus who underwent below-knee amputation (BKA) due to atherosclerotic limb disease. He subsequently faced complications such as wound dehiscence, prolonged wheelchair dependency, and an eventual contralateral BKA.

In developed countries, vitamin A deficiency (VAD) remains rare but is a leading cause of global blindness. We describe the case of a 10-year-old girl with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) initially presenting mild VAD symptoms, escalating to severe photophobia and reluctance to leave a darkened room due to a self-restricted diet of fast-food french fries. A timely examination revealed severe VAD and vitamin A supplementation resolved her symptoms in three weeks.

The clinical association between Coxsackievirus B (CVB) and methicillin-sensitive (MSSA) has not been well established in the current literature. Here, we report a case of a 29-year-old male who presented with fever and malaise 24 hours after noticing a pruritic lesion on the anterior foreleg that resembled a mosquito bite. After multiple ED visits, laboratory studies, and imaging tests, the patient was admitted for treatment of high fevers and pancytopenia.
