Midtarsal dislocations of the foot are rare injuries. Most descriptions of these injuries state that they develop due to high-energy trauma. We present a case of low-energy trauma leading to a medial swivel dislocation of the talonavicular joint, which was reduced by a closed method and immobilized in a cast.

Background: The literature is gradually drifting towards a graft of larger diameter for successful ACL reconstruction. There is no published literature regarding the anthropometric predictors for the diameter of the peroneus longus tendon (PLT) graft obtained in ACL reconstruction through the inframalleolar approach.

Methods: Fifty-two patients were finally evaluated for anthropometric parameters to predict quadrupled PLT graft diameter in ACL reconstruction using the inframalleolar technique.

Introduction: The medial compartment is commonly involved in age-related osteoarthritis knee because weight-bearing axis passes close to the medial condyle and its large surface area. Various treatments have been proposed ranging from conservative to total knee arthroplasty which is an expensive and complex treatment. Recently, proximal fibular osteotomy (PFO) for medial compartment knee osteoarthritis became popular as a treatment modality.

Back Ground: Complex gap nonunion of tibia following open fractures and osteomyelitis with pathological fractures in children is a treatment challenge with unpredictable outcome. Treatment options available are bone transport bone grafting, induced membrane technique, allograft reconstruction and Huntington procedure (ipsilateral transposition of vascularized fibula). There is no consensus in the literature about which technique is optimal in the given situation.

Introduction: We conducted a prospective study to find out change in limb length (lengthening/shortening) after total knee arthroplsty in unilateral and bilateral total knee arthroplasty (TKA) because few literature is available regarding limb length discrepancy in TKA in comparison to total hip arthroplasty. Limb length discrepancy (LLD) may lead to low back pain and gait abnormalities.

Material And Methods: We divided 58 patients into two groups: Group A (28 patients) includes patients who underwent unilateral TKA and Group B (30 patients) includes patients who underwent bilateral TKA.

The purpose of this randomized study was to compare clinical and surgical outcomes of total knee replacements (TKRs) in the early postoperative period using midvastus approach versus medial parapatellar approach in Asian population in a double blind manner. Forty-two knees each were operated using midvastus approach and the medial parapatellar approach. Clinical parameters that were evaluated included Knee Society score (KSS); knee pain using visual analogue scale (VAS) on day 1, 1 week, and 1 month; time required to straight leg raise (SLR); patellar tracking; mean extensor lag at 1 week and 1 month; and time of discharge from the hospital.

Study Design: Retrospective study.

Purpose: To note the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) differences between pathologically proven cases of atypical spinal tuberculosis and spinal metastasis in 40 cases.

Overview Of Literature: Spinal tuberculosis, or Pott's spine, constitutes less than 1% of all cases of tuberculosis and can be associated with a neurologic deficit.

Inferior glenohumeral dislocation is the least common type of glenohumeral dislocations. It may be associated with fractures of the adjacent bones and neurovascular compromise. It should be treated immediately by close reduction.

Background: To compare the diagnostic accuracy of clinical examination and MRI in evaluation of meniscal and ACL injuries using arthroscopic findings as reference standard.

Material/methods: A total of 51 patients with traumatic knee injuries were identified and prospectively followed up with clinical examination, MRI and arthroscopy. Clinical examination and MRI findings were compared with arthroscopic findings.

Purpose: To evaluate the use of fibular grafting for fresh femoral neck fractures with posterior comminution.

Methods: 18 women and 15 men aged 20 to 60 years underwent osteosynthesis and fibular strut grafting supplemented with 7.0-mm cannulated hip screws for Garden grades III (n=21) and IV (n=12) femoral neck fractures associated with posterior comminution.

Giant cell tumor (GCT) is a benign locally aggressive tumor with a tendency for local recurrence. GCT of metatarsal is of rare occurrence with very few cases reported so far. GCT in this location is rare and should be considered in the differential diagnosis of a destructive bony lesion in both skeletally immature and mature patients.

Giant Cell tumour (GCT) or Osteoclastoma is a benign locally aggressive tumour with a tendency for local recurrence. Long tubular bones (75-90%) are frequent sites of involvement. GCT constitutes 5% of all primary bone tumours.

Ewing's Sarcoma of the calcaneus has been infrequently reported in literature. Metastases to the adjoining tibia and fibula have been reported even more rarely. We report a patient who, at the time of presentation, showed gross destruction of the calcaneus and metastases to the ipsilateral tibia and fibula.
