We studied 40 patients, who were allocated alternately to have the third molar removed with either the handpiece or the Piezosurgical unit. Central giant cell lesion (CGCL) is a benign lesion which has unpredictable biologic behaviour and is amenable to a plethora of treatment alternatives.
