Unlabelled: Introduction-Aim: Chronic low back pain affects 80% of individuals at some point in their lives and has significant socioeconomic impacts. This study aims to compare the efficacy of mesotherapy with transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) in treating chronic low back pain.

Methods: A randomized bicentric study was conducted at the Military Hospital of Tunis and the Multidisciplinary Military Polyclinic of Mefeteh Saadallah between August 2023 and June 2024.

Quantification of the Environmental Impact of Feeding Yeast Probiotic Actisaf Sc 47 in Dairy Cow: A Life Cycle Assessment Approach.

Today, one of the major challenges of dairy farmers is to reduce their environmental footprint to establish more effective, efficient, and sustainable production systems. Feed additives such as yeast probiotics could potentially allow them to achieve these objectives through the improvement of milk production, feed efficiency, and ration valorization, hence mitigating the environmental impacts of milk production. In this study, the life cycle assessment (LCA) principle was performed to estimate the environmental impact of the production and supplementation of a commercial yeast probiotic (Actisaf Sc 47) in three trials performed in three different countries that are representative for around 50% of the milk production in Europe: France (French trial), United Kingdom (UK trial), and Germany (German trial).

Introduction: Chronic low back pain is a public health problem in view of its functional repercussions and the functional rehabilitation is an integral part of its management.

Background: Given the increasing blood cancer incidence in Tunisia and recent discoveries proving the involvement of environmental factors, this study examined the environmental health literacy (EHL) of Tunisian secondary school students concerning not only this disease, but also their emotional and behavioral attitudes towards leukemia risks.

Evolution over time of mackinawite generated on carbon steel by the SRB metabolic activity: an in-operando Raman study.

Mackinawite was biologically synthetized by immersing carbon steel coupons in artificial seawater containing Sulphate-Reducing Bacteria (SRB) for 6months. These coupons were removed from the culture medium solution and some were stored in air while others were placed in SRB-free culture medium solution. In operando Raman spectroscopy was used to analyse all these coupons immediately after extraction from the incubation medium and nanocrystalline, well-crystallized and partially oxidized mackinawite was detected.

Background: Familial adenomatous polyposis (known also as classical or severe FAP) is a rare autosomal dominant colorectal cancer predisposition syndrome, characterized by the presence of hundreds to thousands of adenomatous polyps in the colon and rectum from an early age. Functional repercussion of polyarthrosis of the elderly in tunisia.

Introduction: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common degenerative joint disease in the elderly. The often multifocal location at this age can be a source of pain, limitation of everyday activities, thus affecting their quality of life.

Correlation of crystal structure and optical properties of BaNdTiW O perovskite.

The BaNdTiW O (BNT ) pervoskite with a single phase tetragonal structure was prepared at 900 °C using the Molten salt method. Raman spectra, Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), absorption spectra (Vis-NIR) and photoluminescence spectra (PL) in the temperature range from 10-300 K were used to investigate the correlations between the crystal structure and the optical properties of BNT ceramics. Raman analyses and FT-IR indicated that the W ions are incorporated sufficiently into into the BNT lattice.
