Background: The long-term impact of BS with or without BCS has not been established using rigorously developed and validated patient-reported outcome measures. The BODY-Q is a patient-reported outcome measure developed to measure changes in HRQL and satisfaction with appearance in patients with BS and BCS.
Prcis: In the "All of Us (AoU) Research Program," individuals with access to vision care were more likely to have mild, moderate, or severe glaucoma and undergo incisional surgery compared with those without vision care access.
Purpose: To examine the associations between access to eye care, glaucoma severity, and incisional glaucoma surgery using data from the National Institute of Health AoU Research Program.

Methods: Glomerular filtration rate (GFR, inulin), effective renal plasma flow (ERPF, p-aminohippurate), modified Toronto Clinical Neuropathy Score (mTCNS), corneal confocal microscopy, nerve conduction, and heart rate variability (autonomic function) were measured; afferent (R) and efferent (R) arteriolar resistances were estimated using the Gomez equations in 74 participants with T1D and in 75 controls. Objectives: Population-based epidemiologic data for paraneoplastic neurologic syndromes (PNSs) in the United States are lacking. Our objective was to evaluate the incidence, prevalence, and associated morbidity of PNS.
Methods: We performed a population-based epidemiology study in Olmsted County, Minnesota, with patients identified between January 1, 1987, and December 31, 2018, using the medical records linkage system of the Rochester Epidemiology Project (REP) who met the definite/probable 2021 PNS criteria and 2004 PNS criteria.
Spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs) are a group of genetic diseases characterized by progressive ataxia and neurodegeneration, often in cerebellar Purkinje neurons. Background And Objectives: To determine optic nerve and retinal damage in aquaporin-4 antibody (AQP4-IgG)-seropositive neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) in a large international cohort after previous studies have been limited by small and heterogeneous cohorts.
Methods: The cross-sectional Collaborative Retrospective Study on retinal optical coherence tomography (OCT) in neuromyelitis optica collected retrospective data from 22 centers. Of 653 screened participants, we included 283 AQP4-IgG-seropositive patients with NMOSD and 72 healthy controls (HCs).

Background: Thrombosis and inflammation may contribute to the risk of death and complications among patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19). We hypothesized that therapeutic-dose anticoagulation may improve outcomes in noncritically ill patients who are hospitalized with Covid-19.
Methods: In this open-label, adaptive, multiplatform, controlled trial, we randomly assigned patients who were hospitalized with Covid-19 and who were not critically ill (which was defined as an absence of critical care-level organ support at enrollment) to receive pragmatically defined regimens of either therapeutic-dose anticoagulation with heparin or usual-care pharmacologic thromboprophylaxis.
Objective: To update the consensus recommendations for reporting of quantitative optical coherence tomography (OCT) study results, thus revising the previously published Advised Protocol for OCT Study Terminology and Elements (APOSTEL) recommendations.
Methods: To identify studies reporting quantitative OCT results, we performed a PubMed search for the terms "quantitative" and "optical coherence tomography" from 2015 to 2017. Corresponding authors of the identified publications were invited to provide feedback on the initial APOSTEL recommendations via online surveys following the principle of a modified Delphi method.
