Hypertension in a Caribbean population.

This cross-sectional study presents an assessment of factors associated with elevated blood pressure in Seventh-Day Adventists in the Caribbean. Four-hundred-thirty-three subjects were randomly selected from the English-speaking Caribbean population. Subjects ranged in age from twenty-one to sixty; 150 were males and 283 females.
