Background: The increasing dementia prevalence and potential introduction of disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) highlight the need for efficient diagnostic pathways. Clear recommendations to guide the choice of diagnostic tests are lacking and may vary depending on different clinical scenarios. We used a data-driven approach to identify efficient and effective stepwise diagnostic testing for three clinical scenarios: 1) syndrome diagnosis, 2) etiological diagnosis, 3) potential eligibility for DMT.

This will bring new challenges in terms of clinician-patient communication. We aimed to collect the perspectives of memory clinic professionals regarding the most important topics to address and what (tools) would support professionals and their patients and care partners to engage in a meaningful conversation on whether (or not) to initiate treatment.

The aim of this study is to examine the additional value of MRI-based brain volumetry in separating patients with DLB (AD+/-) from patients with AD and controls.
Methods: We included 1518 participants from four cohorts (ADC, ADNI, PDBP and PredictND); 147 were patients with DLB (n = 76, DLB/AD+; n = 71, DLB/AD-), 668 patients with AD dementia, and 703 controls.
Background: Previous spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB) is a strong risk indicator for recurrent preterm birth (PTB). Cervical cerclage is an accepted intervention to prevent recurrent PTB in high risk patients. Cervical pessary might be a less invasive alternative.
