[The exploratory meeting: Action research on the perspective of care recipients].

Background: Mental health care (MHC) is under pressure due to increased demands and limited capacity, resulting in long waiting lists. To improve accessibility, Mental Health Centers (MCs) were established in Central and West-Brabant starting in 2021, with the exploratory meeting (EM) as the first step.

Aim: To gain insight into citizens’ experiences with the EM, the flow to appropriate care, and contribution of action research to this process.

Feasibility and challenges in sustaining a community based surveillance system in post-Ebola Sierra Leone.

Background: In outbreak-prone settings, community-based surveillance (CBS) systems can alert health authorities to respond in a timely manner where suspected cases of disease are being reported. After the 2014-2016 Ebola outbreak, the WHO and other stakeholders supported the establishment of CBS in Sierra Leone, for which community health workers (CHW) were trained to collect and report symptoms data of 11 priority health conditions in their communities. Our study objective was to assess feasibility and challenges to sustain CBS in a low resource setting as part of a World Bank evaluation of Sierra Leone's Ministry of Health and Sanitation's (MoHS) CBS and electronic Integrated Disease Surveillance & Response (eIDSR) systems.

Exploring barriers and enabling factors for surgical task sharing with physician assistants in Liberia: a qualitative pre-implementation study.

Objectives: This study explores potential barriers and enabling factors that may influence the acceptance of implementation of a surgical task-sharing initiative targeting physician assistants (PAs) in Liberia.

Design: A qualitative, pre-implementation study using semistructured interviews. Data was analysed in NVivo V.

The Effects of Lower Leg Compression Garments on Lower Extremity Sports Injuries, Subjective Fatigue and Biomechanical Variables: A Systematic Review with Meta-analysis.

The objective of this study was to systematically review the literature on the effect of CGs versus non-CGs (such as regular socks) or versus placebo garments on 1) the incidence of lower extremity sports injuries and 2) subjective ratings of fatigue and biomechanical variables in athletes at participating in any sport that required any level of running performance, given that fatigue-related biomechanical alterations may increase the risk of sports injuries. This study was a systematic review with meta-analyses. PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, Cochrane, PEDro, and Scopus were searched for eligible studies until 7 July 2021.

Unexpected -Induced Hematotoxicity-Results from a Retrospective Study.

Introduction: poisoning is a serious health problem with a mortality rate of 10-40%. Poisonings are characterized by severe liver and kidney toxicity. The effect of poisonings on hematological parameters has not been systematically evaluated thus far.
