  • Birds are highly affected by the toxicity of insecticides, particularly imidacloprid (IMI), which significantly harms avian species.
  • Recent studies are exploring natural alternatives, like curcumin (CUR), to reduce the negative effects of IMI on poultry performance, immunity, and antioxidant status.
  • The experiment with broilers showed that CUR improved growth, reduced feed intake, and enhanced various health and immune markers compared to IMI-exposed birds, indicating its potential as a protective agent against insecticide toxicity.
