This study examines the parental use of social media within autism spectrum disorder (ASD) families in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), focusing on perspectives and challenges in promoting social inclusion. Through semi-structured interviews with 21 participants, including 16 females and 5 males aged between 36 and 47, insights were gained into their experiences navigating social media platforms. Using thematic analysis, findings reveal varied approaches to leveraging social media for fostering social inclusion, alongside challenges such as misinformation and stigma.

Superior mesentery artery (SMA)-like syndrome is an increasingly used term to describe vascular compression of the third duodenal portion between structures other than the superior mesenteric artery and aorta. Although rare, this clinical condition is as serious as true SMA syndrome and requires similar management.
