Patients who experience language barriers (LBs) may be at risk for patient safety events (PSEs). We conducted a scoping review of the literature to understand the risk for and type of PSEs in those who experience LBs. We searched PubMed, Web of Science, and Embase in October 2023.

In Antofagasta, Chile, an innovation project entitled Volvamos Juntos ("Let's Return Together") was developed to support a diverse group of micro and small businesses. The project consisted of accompanying companies in the process of reopening safely and included interventions ranging from educating and testing employees for COVID-19 to developing protocols to avoid contagion and other preventive measures.

Although active Src is anchored to the plasma membrane, the role of membrane lipids in its regulation remains unclear. Here, we report that Src self-associates via a lysine cluster in its SH4 region, a process mediated by lipids in human cells and in vitro.

Although the results indicated no significant differences between them, the samples were rather small. Many public health campaigns and interventions aim to promote connectedness to support holistic wellness and reduce health inequities. Currently, however, there are no measurement tools to assess intergenerational connectedness to support culturally grounded research and program evaluation.
