Purpose: To analyze drug overdose mortality trends among Asian American and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (AANHPI) populations.
Methods: We obtained data on drug overdose deaths and population totals from CDC WONDER and the American Community Survey (2018-2022). Crude mortality rates per 100,000 were calculated overall and by sex, U.
Rapid adaptation to novel environments is crucial for survival, and this ability is impaired in many neuropsychiatric disorders. Understanding neural adaptation to novelty exposure therefore has therapeutic implications. Here, I found that novelty induces time-dependent theta (4-12Hz) oscillatory dynamics in brain circuits including the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC), ventral hippocampus (vHPC), and ventral tegmental area (VTA), but not dorsal hippocampus (dHPC), as mice adapt to a novel environment.

Introduction—: Mount Aconcagua (6961 m) in Argentina is the highest peak in the Americas, and more than 3000 climbers attempt to summit annually. High altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) is a leading cause of mortality and evacuation on Aconcagua.
Objective—: This study sought to describe the characteristics of climbers who developed HAPE on Aconcagua to aid in future prevention efforts.

Background: An analysis of the financial trends of Interventional Pain (IP) procedures in the United States is lacking. Understanding these relations is necessary to help optimize future IP care delivery and costs.
Objective: To examine Medicare reimbursement trends for IP procedures in both facility and non-facility settings.
This paper investigates the phase behaviors, morphology changes, and degree of dispersion of a multi-component cathode battery slurry system. The slurry comprises polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) as the binder, hydrogenated nitrile butadiene rubber (HNBR) as the dispersant with varying acrylonitrile (ACN) content, N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) as the solvent, and carbon nanotubes/graphene (CNTs/GRA) as the conductive agent. Several analytical methods, including visualized imaging, solubility parameters, radial distribution function (RDF) analysis, β phase PVDF analysis, near-atom analysis, and potential of mean force (PMF) analysis, were employed to compare the slurry's characteristics.
