Unlabelled: Cystica profunda is a rare benign finding of mucous-filled cysts in the submucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, more commonly found in the rectum and colon. Risk factors include rectal prolapse, inflammatory bowel diseases, pelvic radiation and being post-appendectomy. We present a case of a female patient presenting with rectorrhagia, found to have sigmoidal colitis cystica profunda (CCP) six months post-appendectomy.

L. (radish), a member of Brassicaceae, is widely used in traditional medicine in various cultures for treatment of several diseases and disorders associated with microbial infections. The antibacterial activity of the different plant parts has been mainly attributed to several isothiocyanate (ITC) compounds.

In this article, we discuss the special considerations arising from these problems when conducting NMR-based ligand-binding studies with membrane proteins. While the use of (13)C and (15)N isotopes is becoming increasingly feasible, (19)F and (1)H NMR-based approaches are currently the most widely explored.

Most of the corresponding isocyanides precipitate during the reaction and can be filtered to yield highly pure, colorless, and odorless solids. They are potentially useful in the combinatorial chemistry of multicomponent reactions.

This study was first focused on examining the selected biomass in anaerobic batch systems with sodium acetate solutions (control study). Then, the different types of biomass were tested with raw OMW (water-diluted) and with pretreated OMW by coagulation-flocculation using Poly Aluminum Chloride (PACl) combined with hydrated lime (Ca(OH)2).
