Gulf War Illness (GWI) is characterized by a wide range of symptoms that manifests largely as gastrointestinal symptoms. Among these gastrointestinal symptoms, motility disorders are highly prevalent, presenting as chronic constipation, stomach pain, indigestion, diarrhea, and other conditions that severely impact the quality of life of GWI veterans. Nostalgia is a social, self-relevant, and bittersweet (although mostly positive) emotion that arises when reflecting on fond past memories and serves key psychological functions. The majority of evidence concerning the prevalence, triggers, and functions of nostalgia has been amassed in samples from a handful of largely Western cultures. Purpose: To analyze intravital structure of the vitreous body in asteroid hyalosis using digital ultrasound imaging.

Material And Methods: The study included 64 patients (128 eyes) aged 62 to 73 years with opacities in the vitreous body characterized as asteroid hyalosis.
