In rats, IDPH-8261 exhibited a dose related inhibition of carrageenin-induced rat paw edema and the inhibition was greater than ibuprofen, phenylbutazone, but was three times less than indomethacin. It exhibited anti-inflammatory activity in normal and adrenalectomized rats.
