Sound-induced flash illusion (SiFI) is an auditory-dominant multisensory illusion that can be used to assess multisensory integration. Although previous studies have shown that one-time intervention exercise training does not significantly affect SiFI, the long-term improvement of SiFI with exercise training remains controversial. In the present study, the classical SiFI paradigm was used to investigate the effects of long-term exercise training on the SiFI.

To address this knowledge gap, we carried out single-cell multiomics assays to investigate gene expression, chromatin accessibility, DNA methylome and 3D chromatin architecture in human retina, macula, and retinal pigment epithelium (RPE)/choroid. We identified 420,824 unique candidate regulatory elements and characterized their chromatin states in 23 sub-classes of retinal cells.

This study investigates the association between dairy consumption and CVD incidence using data from the China Kadoorie Biobank and the UK Biobank, complemented by an updated meta-analysis. Among Chinese participants, regular dairy consumption (primarily whole milk) is associated with a 9% increased risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) and a 6% reduced risk of stroke compared to non-consumers.

To understand the clinicopathological and molecular genetic characteristics of aggressive renal mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma (MTSCC). The clinical features, histology, immunophenotype, molecular characteristics and prognosis of 4 cases of metastatic/recurrent renal MTSCC that were submitted to the Peking University Third Hospital (2 cases), Institute of Urology, Peking University (one case) and Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital (one case) from 2015 to 2020 were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. Among the four patients, two were male and two were female.

Typically, the NADPH cofactor is regenerated through a second enzyme and/or substrate. However, photocatalytic cofactor regeneration using water as a sacrificial electron and hydrogen donor presents a promising alternative, albeit a challenging one.
