This study assesses the epidemiological and entomological impacts of piperonyl butoxide insecticide-treated nets (PBO ITN-only arm) compared with the combination of two annual non-pyrethroid indoor residual spraying (IRS) campaigns and standard pyrethroid ITNs (IRS+Standard Pyrethroid ITN arm) in the Amhara region of Ethiopia.

Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs) in pregnant women can lead to pyelonephritis and preterm birth. We assessed UTI prevalence, etiology, antimicrobial resistance, and associated risk factors among pregnant women receiving antenatal care in rural Amhara, Ethiopia. 604 pregnant women were screened for UTI at ≤ 24 weeks gestational age from August 2020 to June 2022.

Introduction And Importance: The estimated incidence of congenital dislocation of the knee, also referred to as genu recurvatum, is approximately 1 in 100,000 live births. The purpose of this report is to present a rare case of unilateral congenital knee dislocation, highlighting the clinical presentation and management.

Background: In 2019, 77% of women and 82% of men with hypertension had uncontrolled hypertension worldwide. Uncontrolled hypertension can cause stroke, myocardial infarction, heart failure, renal failure, dementia, blindness, and death.
