A commonly applied analgesic therapy for patients with severe abdominal pain due to cancer-related pain in the upper abdomen, is coeliac plexus neurolysis (CPN). Herein, a combination product of phenol and an iodine contrast agent are injected simultaneously. The chemical stability of such a combination product is unknown, and no chromatographic method is yet available that describes the simultaneous quantification of phenol and iomeprol.

Therefore, the development of rapid onset formulations, for instance with levodopa, is warranted, which was the reason to investigate an inhalable formulation of levodopa.
Objectives: The primary objective was to determine the duration until maximum effect is reached of inhaled levodopa on the improvement of motor function of PD patients.
Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is a B cell-mediated, relapsing, autoimmune disease. There is a need for novel therapeutic approaches and relapse markers to achieve durable remission. B cells express immune regulatory molecules that modulate their activation and maintain tolerance.

Background: Tumor-infiltrating immune cells have been correlated with prognosis for patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) treatment of various cancers. However, no robust biomarker has been described to predict treatment response yet. We hypothesized that the activation potency of circulating T cells may predict response to ICI treatment.
