Background: Falls are the most reported patient safety incident for patients >65 years in acute hospital settings worldwide. While multifactorial fall interventions reduce the number of falls in subacute and rehabilitation settings, fall interventions in acute hospital settings are unknown.

Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of multifactorial fall interventions on the number of falls using codesigned education targeting staff and the patient and review the environment in acute hospital settings in NSW, Australia for patients over 65 years of age.

Reliability of Hip Strength Assessment in Young Active People with Hip Dysplasia: An Examination in Student Circus Artists.

Background: Developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH) is common in performing artists and other young active individuals and involves abnormalities in bony morphology of the acetabulum and proximal femur that can negatively impact walking biomechanics, muscular strength, quality of life, and sleep. Rehabilitation for hip-related conditions should target known modifiable impairments such as hip muscle strength, though a reliable method of assessment in this population remains unclear.

Objective: To determine the inter- and intra-rater reliability of hip muscle strength assessments using handheld dynamometry (HHD) in young active circus artists with DDH.

Examining Adolescent Language Performance in Discourse Production Across Four Elicitation Tasks.

Purpose: Comprehensive spoken language assessment should include the evaluation of language use in naturalistic contexts. Discourse elicitation and analysis provides the opportunity for such an evaluation to occur. In this article, our overall aim was to describe adolescents' language performance on four elicitation tasks and determine if there are task-related differences across the elicitation tasks.
