Early diagnosis of oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) can bring about considerable improvement in reducing the statistics related to morbidity and mortality associated with oral cancer. The objective of this review was to summarize advanced diagnostic aids used for OPMDs. Pubmed, Embase, and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials electronic databases from 1969 to 2022 focus on advanced diagnostic techniques for potentially malignant disorders.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFIntroduction: The aim of the study is to assess the correlation of detachment of proximal tibia superficial medial collateral ligament (sMCL) and medial meniscus (MM) extrusion with knee osteoarthritis (OA) and its progression.
Materials And Methods: This is a prospective study where 165 knees were evaluated using radiographs and magnetic resonance imaging for the severity of OA knee according to Kellgrence-Lawrence grading, MM extrusion, and status of proximal tibia attachment of sMCL. Chi-square test of Independence and Pearson's correlation test were used to assess any correlation among the variables.
A 68-year-old woman presented with worsening dyspnea. She had presented to her local community hospital 10 days earlier with similar symptoms. She was diagnosed with a right-sided pleural effusion, which was attributed to pneumonia and treated with antibiotics.
