Recruitment and expansion of rare precursor B cells in germinal centers (GCs) is a central goal of vaccination to generate broadly neutralizing antibodies (bnAbs) against challenging pathogens such as HIV. Multivalent immunogen display is a well-established method to enhance vaccine-induced B cell responses, typically accomplished by using natural or engineered protein scaffolds. However, these scaffolds themselves are targets of antibody responses, with the potential to generate competitor scaffold-specific B cells that could theoretically limit expansion and maturation of "on-target" B cells in the GC response.

Background: Overweight and obesity in pregnancy are associated with health risks for women and babies. Providing effective weight management during pregnancy is necessary to support appropriate gestational weight gain and improve outcomes for women and their infants. This study aimed to synthesise evidence documenting healthcare-related barriers and enablers for weight management among pregnant women with overweight or obesity in English-speaking high-income countries.

Friends Across Time: Multi-Scale Action Segmentation Transformer for Surgical Phase Recognition.

Automatic surgical phase recognition is a core technology for modern operating rooms and online surgical video assessment platforms. Current state-of-the-art methods use both spatial and temporal information to tackle the surgical phase recognition task. Building on this idea, we propose the Multi-Scale Action Segmentation Transformer (MS-AST) for offline surgical phase recognition and the Multi-Scale Action Segmentation Causal Transformer (MS-ASCT) for online surgical phase recognition.

Staff-reported barriers and facilitators to the implementation of healthcare interventions within regional and rural areas: a rapid review.

Background: Individuals in rural areas consistently demonstrate higher mortality and morbidity rates, and poorer access to healthcare, compared to their metropolitan counterparts. Optimizing the implementation of evidence-based interventions can reduce these inequities. Existing literature outlines numerous barriers and facilitators to the implementation of healthcare interventions, but these are generally not specific to rural areas.
